Cantinho das Cores was formed by TRKZ, May Mbira and Nandele in late night improvisation sessions.

The novelty in this project is the insatiable interest in the exploration of instruments and rhythms. Guitars, tambourines, mbiras, loop pedals, synthesizers, and many more instruments are combined in a playful meditation on music and their own lives. Cantinho das Cores is the result of existing individual compositions by the three musicians and an ongoing collective process of creation. Their skills are combined in a virtuous and unique manner, bringing the listener to familiar yet staggering sounds.
