LOS ANGELES, CA - Stylishly uniting global rhythms and contemporary pop, long-time artist and songwriter "Elle B" releases the soulfully smooth yet catchy and compelling single ‘Wetin’. Written pre-pandemic, Elle B and producer DWillsHarmony devised ‘Wetin’ in Nigeria, blending aspects of Elle’s background in Pop with her growing affinity for African Music. The song unites traits of mainstream energy and melodic appeal, whilst infusing a clear rhythmic and performative edge of African creative expression.

Crafted between Johannesburg and her home-town of LA, ‘Wetin’ speaks volumes on behalf of Elle B’s extensive journey as a musician. Boasting over a decade on the scene, having toured for eight years as backing vocalist for Katy Perry – and opening the show for her in South Africa, in 2018 – Elle’s commitment and history are unrivalled. 2022 saw her feature on the globally collaborative album ‘Priceless’, from Mastercard, and ultimately kicked off the beginning of an unmissable chapter in her story as leading artist.

Known for her performance abilities and longevity in modern pop, along with a plethora of independent releases – from 2008’s ‘The Elle B EP’, to 2016’s ‘The Noire EP’ - Elle recently combined her knowledge and understanding of the industry, to found indie label AUDACI Records. The hope was to transition further towards African rhythms, and secure her role amidst the future of English Language Afro-Pop.

The launch of the infectious and dance-ready ‘Wetin’ shines light on both the professionalism and outright passion Elle B employs when uniting cultures. The sheer energy and soulful conviction of the track promises a fearless celebration of her freedoms and the world that helped create them.

Releasing January 27th, ‘Wetin’ utilizes global flavors of Afrobeats, alongside contemporary RnB and Pop, for a genre-fusing hit that naturally lifts the mood. Following its launch, Elle B will release a subsequent new single each and every month, for the entirety of 2023 – a wholly-devoted attempt to demonstrate and celebrate all that the AUDACI sound truly is.
